- Pluggy Platform & App – our OCPP-based EV charging and Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) management platform.
- V2G Australia App – our home charger control app.
- Websites – any Pluggy or V2G Australia websites and online services.
- Any other interactions you have with us (such as email, phone or written communication).
We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Personal Information We Collect
“Personal Information” is information that can identify you, or which can be reasonably linked to you.
Depending on how you interact with our apps or websites, we may collect:

- Payment information: credit card details or other payment credentials.
- Vehicle & charging data: EV model, VIN (if provided), battery state of charge, charge/discharge rates, energy delivered/returned (kWh), session start/end times, charger ID.
- Location data: when you enable location-based services to find chargers.
- Technical data: IP address, device type, operating system, app usage statistics, cookies.
We may also collect non-identifiable data (aggregated charging trends, energy flows, etc.) that does not reveal your identity.
How We Collect Your Information
We collect information when you:
- Create an account or update your profile.
- Connect to a charger or start a charge/discharge session through Pluggy or the V2G Australia app.
- Use location-based features to find or activate chargers.
- Contact us for support, provide feedback or participate in surveys.
- Visit our websites or interact with us on social media.
Some data is automatically generated by your charger or mobile device when using our services.
Use of Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and manage access to our charging and V2G services.
- Start, stop, monitor and bill charging or discharging sessions.
- Display live session data such as battery percentage, kWh charged/discharged, and charge rate.
- Improve our products, troubleshoot issues and develop new features.
- Send service updates, safety notices or important account information.
- Offer promotions or marketing (if you have opted in).
- Conduct research, analytics and reporting (using aggregated or de-identified data where possible).
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or contacting us.
